i told before and still standing on my sense that we can distribute internet bandwidth of 512 kbps full duplex for home use for only 500 taka or less per month. if you guys cant establish it. please step down from your positions (smwe fibre cable bandwidth distribution authorities) and email me at asifpalash@gmail.com about your disabiliies, then i will take command of IT solutions in BD. thank you

ok...do u get 15-20 using citycell zoom even in bittorrent???
bullet eshrak on Thursday 16 August 2007 - 17:00:20
All other telco has their limitations as well but they don't admit it.....try GP for sake...you won't be able to cross 3GB...for citycell its 5 GB till 31Dec'07.
bullet s3rious on Sunday 12 August 2007 - 12:47:20
but isnt citycell download limited to 3GB per month for 1500tk? tht sucks
bullet tabrez on Friday 10 August 2007 - 21:43:00
citycell is quite good for single use.
bullet Shanto on Thursday 09 August 2007 - 19:20:51
Anyone from BDCOM? Are you getting frequent pop-up/under ads? If yes, Did you complain? What was the response? See http://www.zendurl.com/bdcom and compare it with your experience.
bullet eshrak on Thursday 09 August 2007 - 14:33:39

note: posted several comments. before anyone comes to say "u r dreamin, come to really" better u do a really check and come to get into a debate with facts.
bullet mak4bd on Sunday 15 July 2007 - 11:54:14
many big isp in bd: like sirius broadband sell fibre optic packages.but as i saw at my office they take installion 5k tk then and give 20kilobyte at first! then after 6months u get 4-5kB/s . but u keep paying 1500tk as always. wat kinda business policy is that. so they r giving u 20 for the first couple of months for 2500tk per month. caz u gonna leave them after 6-7months and they knw that. i am not goin to go into the talk of bandwidth shortage to bd ppl cazed by illigal voip business for yrs. i hope gp doesnt' downgrade their speed with their rapid increasing net users.
bullet mak4bd on Sunday 15 July 2007 - 11:48:13
so from now on before anybody comes and says someone is f??king dreaming better take his ass out in the net and see how the saarc member states like bhutan and nepal and srilanka r improving their internet bandwidht and how we r going backwards by neglecting this wonder. yes it is a wonder of of modern time. if U (that guy) say that it's also a dream then go to wiki and check the info.
bullet mak4bd on Sunday 15 July 2007 - 11:45:05
i am not blaming the isps for bad speed. its bttb's part to increase nations main bandwidth accesibility. but isps sell "fibre optic" broadband.WOW.wat a big hype thing!!! u can carry upto 1mbps with the cat5 or cat6.then y the heck do u need a fibre optic. cable gets stolen! fibre also gets stolen but they cant' be used. but main thing is ppl dn't expect to get 1mbps here in next 15 yrs or so. so just give ppl 32kilobyte speed for 1500tk per month at max or lower. also give some money back gurranty for the installation charge.
bullet mak4bd on Sunday 15 July 2007 - 11:41:12
isps charge 70000tk for 1 mbps and they sell it for 1750000tk! in the past they paid 3000USD like 3000x70tk and 1mbps costed 250000tk. i asked bol..(orko) dont' think these r just dream or imaginative words. these r facts. do u can definitely c how much price the isps have reduced.
bullet mak4bd on Sunday 15 July 2007 - 11:37:50
the mobile sector in bd is changing so fast. u must knw the call charge was 7 tk only 4 yrs back and now it's 1.50tk!! u tell it a dream. mobile came long time after internet came to this county. in the mobile sector the policy makers made the best use of our mass population. on the other hand internet is still neglected.
bullet mak4bd on Sunday 15 July 2007 - 11:35:24
yo orko..r u a part of some kinda freakin isp or wat. man i stopped coming to this forum caz nothing really changed posting on this forum. the isps take money from customers and then they blame bttb for bad service. are bhai isp ra customer der kase and bttb isp der kase daiboddho. if the bttb not working right then it's the duty of the isps of to take required action.

Poll
Poll: Will monopoly of the distribution of bandwidth from the first-ever Bangladesh submarine-cable help in lowering Internet bandwidth prices?

Yes, monopoly should be allowed.

No, distribution should be competitive.

Not sure, I have to know more about it!
